Westside Future Fund Welcomes New Board Member Harrison Lance

Westside Future Fund (WFF) is proud to announce the appointment of Harrison Lance to its Board of Directors. A seasoned leader in international finance, innovation, and entrepreneurship, Lance brings a powerful combination of professional expertise and deep community engagement to support WFF’s mission of revitalizing Atlanta’s historic Westside neighborhoods.

“Harrison is a strategic thinker who brings both international expertise and a personal passion for community impact,” said John Ahmann, President & CEO of Westside Future Fund. “We’re excited to welcome him as we continue building a future worthy of the Westside’s legacy.”

An Atlanta native, Harrison Lance currently serves as the Senior Trade & Investment Officer for the UK Department of Business and Trade, where he specializes in financial and professional services including FinTech, Insurtech, asset management, and family offices. His work bridges international markets and strengthens economic opportunities between the U.S. and the U.K.

In addition to his global leadership role, Lance is a successful entrepreneur and co-founder of Berckmans Vodka, one of the fastest-growing spirits brands in the Southeast. He has also held key positions across the financial services and tech industries, earning recognition throughout his career for excellence and innovation.

Beyond the boardroom, Lance has a strong record of civic and nonprofit engagement. He has served with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlanta’s Youth Leadership Council and supported organizations like Africa House. He is active in his faith community at the Cathedral of St. Philip, where he teaches Sunday School.

“I’m honored to join the Westside Future Fund Board and contribute to the transformative work underway in the historic Westside,” said Lance. “The community is full of history, culture, and promise — and I’m committed to helping ensure longtime residents have the opportunity to thrive as the neighborhood grows.”

Lance holds a certificate in Private Equity from Oxford University and is a graduate of Georgia’s Senior Leadership Academy and one of the nation’s six federally designated senior military academies.
