Inaugural Beloved Benefit on March 21 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium to benefit Westside organizations

Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Beloved Community, the inaugural Beloved Benefit will take place March 21 on the field of Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The event will bring together all of Atlanta – citizens, leaders, clergy and celebrities – to unite around supporting Atlanta’s Westside. Hosted by Chick-fil-A Foundation and Arthur Blank’s AMB Group, 100 percent of event proceeds will benefit organizations serving Atlanta’s Westside, including the At-Promise Youth and Community Center, City of Refuge, Grove Park Foundation, Westside Future Fund and Westside Works. The evening will be hosted by comedian Steve Harvey and will feature entertainment by musical guests Emeli Sandé and Bruno Mars.

Leading up to the event, Westside Future Fund will feature each of the event beneficiaries as guest speakers during the Transform Westside Summits held on the first and third Friday of each month. On February 15, we heard from Grove Park Foundation and on March 1 City of Refuge shared about its mission and work. Coming up on March 15, we’ll hear from Westside Works.
