Founded by longtime Atlantan and educator Dr. Narvie Puls, Omenala Griot Afrocentric Museum presents the rich and diverse history of the African diaspora through art, culture, literature, and history. Join us at this fascinating West End museum to learn about “the teaching of the true story” (translation of Omenala Griot).

Party with the Past: St. Marks on English Avenue
Built in 1920, the impressive stone walls of historic St. Marks AME Church now enclose an open-air event space, a historic preservation & adaptive reuse project in the making. Come & see this impressive structure, learn about the effort to save it spearheaded by community leaders, & get to know historic English Avenue.
