Rue Gunter, Director of Development, at Peace Prep Academy, delivered the devotional message at Westside Future Fund’s April 1st Transform Westside Summit in front of a live audience. Pulling from The Bible’s book of Nehemiah, Gunter spoke to the importance of relationship building among new and old residents as revitalization efforts continue in Atlanta’s Historic Westside community.

As a neighbor moving into this neighborhood, my hope is that I’m really slow to speak and quick to listen, that I can learn from people’s oral history and from reading on the neighborhood and all of those things to become a good neighbor.”
